Thanks to the Lord for my soccer-basketball life ;-)

Our FIFA Sport Community continue! Without any ads through social network etc the Lord gives to us more and more teenagers which who we continue to build friendships. Guys become more open. The atmosphere of acceptance, love is present at the Community however the challenges also are - the challenges to think deeper, to think over spiritual truths. ;-)

On the photo on your right our volunteer, Todd Carlson, shares his testimony about how he was born in Korea, in Seul, how his biological parents left him on a step of a church, how his parents from America adopted him and he grew spoiled with material values in life, how God led him to Poland and there he found Christ and what real repentance is and life according to the Word of God, how God brought him to Ukraine and what struggles he has living here. At our last community we discussed in groups who wants to become who and how he plans to realize that. One of the guys told how he was impressed by the story of Todd and he said he'd never seen believers like him in his life. It's a miracle! It seems that guys usually don't listen and are on their wave and just want to play tournaments but the Lord still does His work - Hallellua! 

 Few communities before at our devotion time we talked about God creating everybody with a purpose and asked to share about each other's families. Many guys turned out live without their dads. It's sad. They need Heavenly Father!

Thanks to the Lord for the blessings and for the friendships with the guys, for the possibility to serve with the snacks arrangements, to play soccer with them and to talk to them during the discussion groups.  Please pray that our guys would be more open and would become "disciples" of Christ, so that Heavenly Father would become their Heavenly Father and also so that the girls would also come to the community ;-)

Soccer field at the parking of the church "Revival"  On photo - one of our leaders planning meetings with one of the pastors of the church. The installation of a field is not an easy process and we expected it. But it turned out harder than we expected :-) There are ideas to use a small field which the people from the multistored building who live there, opposite the church, started to fix. Please pray for the field on the parking so that God would help to install it cheap and in a good quality with other materials needed. Also for the small field and the interaction with the locals living opposite the church - as it's a great "bridge" to build Sport Community ;-)

 Practices and games with non-believers in the team "Tigress"

 Thank you for your prayers! The trip to the competitions for the Cup of Ukraine, the practices, the recent game in ABL (Amateur Basketball League against men's teams) and so on - there were possibilities to talk to the coach and to some women about God, about my church and about faith. Now i'm being called a sports chaplain or "a spiritual leader" (they joke:-)

  Vika was my roomate when we were at the competitions in Odessa. She's 20 but she learned a lot and started to earn for her living since early age. Few practices earlier we had a small conflict when she treated me with a pride and I didn't have a right to raise my voice still at her. I prayed and repented. The Lord blesses our relationships. Before the game in the room in Odessa I was reading Bible on my phone from my daily Bible reading plan. Vika asked me what I was doing. I explained. She said she had worries before the game. I told her that I have my method how to get peace before the game. She got interested and I shared with her the devotion part from the Bible reading plan which was just telling how to rely on the Lord in stressful moments and that the Lord won't fail as opposite to a human being and circumstances. 

 Please keep praying - so that my teammates would pray with me before the games, so that their hearts would be more open and so that I'd talk more about Christ with them, and also so that i'd continue to improve practicing and playing )

Practices and the games of the middle school girls from KCA (Kiev Christian Academy) (the team's name is "Eagles" ) 

 Thank you for your prayers - the games and the practices of KCA middle school girls continue. Thought we are only 6 girls and 3 of them play basketball first time in life - thank you to our crossfit coach in the team -  when the girls have to compete with strong opponents, they don't give up. The Lord is glorified in other international non Christian schools - we pray in front of everybody before and after the game and we also encourage our girls with good words as opposite to the shouting coaches from the opponent teams who are non-believers. Please keep praying for us -this week are the last games in this season!

Please pray for my disciple and friend - coach Katya - for our further studies how to share Gospel and to make disciples, so that she'd have boldness and wisdom to share Gospel and how to coach her girls.

  Also for my friend - Anya - for her true repentance so that Christ would be on the throne of her life.

Please keep praying about the deliberance and for the true repentance of my sister, Irina (thank you for prayers - i pray with her some times), for the true repentance of my brother Valera and of my nephew, Vova. I dream we would be one big Sport Family:)
