Greetings!
Thank you for your prayers and support. How are you?
I've been willing for a long time to share with you some events of quite intensive summer for me in the ministry.
In July we had two summer camps for the kids in the city of Kiev. We did that in the partnership with two churches "Revival" and "Anchor". There were kids at the camps who don't come to the church from the Svyatoshin neighbourhood of Kiev, and also the kids of the parents who are believers from 5-8 churches of Kiev. We rented a big stadium "Nauka" where we had soccer community and also American games competitions. During the breaks we had devotionals and the kids had a fellowship time with our American and Dutch guests/missionaries. We had total 160 kids in two camps and as a result 32 kids prayed the repentance prayer. You can see how everything went in the video below.

The camp was called "Sports Kids Challenge". The Lord gives us challenges every day :) One of the challenges for me during these camps time was to handle all my responsibilities: financial management of the team, interpreting, registration of the kids, administrative tasks, worship, devotionals, my kids team leadership. Also the Lord showed how He can influence through us the children's mentality even though it could seem they didn't notice or hear/listen.For example this boy on the photo - Sasha - when I asked the kids what they said when the teammate scored, all shouted at once: "Good job!" When I asked what they said if the teammate lost or failed, everyone together was silent. I told them they should say in such situation: "It's ok, next time you'll do it!" Later when we were at the field and one of the boys started to cry because he lost/failed to score, Sasha came up to him and said , "Dont be upset. It's ok, next time you'll do it!" :)
In August we had what is called IBS (International Bible School) which takes place every 6 months for Cru staff members. The theme of the session time was - Old Testament Overview. It was quite hard intellectually but it was a blessing to see how God worked throughout the history through the prophets about the New Covenant which would be written down on "the tablets of the hearts".Please pray for:
1) The beginning of a new season of the Sport Kids practices and for the further development and influence also of the new kids and their parents through Sport Community (on the photo below is the family which came to the church service after our camps - 4 kids participated in the camps and are looking foward to start practicing with us ;-)2) Full recovery of my leg, so i would stop limping and the plates wouldn't bother physically - the doctor said they can be removed only at the end of Feb;
3) For the possibility to influence and for the repentance of women - basketball veterans - please see photo. I explain a bit more: last December I offered these women who i practiced with that i could be their spiritual sports chaplain. Their reaction was sceptical and they asked many questions such as "Do you pay taxes?" In the beginning of the summer one of those women, Lena (the 2nd in the first row from the right) asked me to pray for their competitions when they would go to the Europe Championship among women basketball veterans. I prayed for them and through Facebook shared prayer truth. On the photo - my team which won silver medals in this Championship. God is good! ;-)
4) For my disciple and my friend Anya Mir - she looks for a job and God's calling for her life - also for further Bible study meetings on discipleship with the girls - volunteers in Sport Community 5) for my sister Ira and my brother Valera and my nephew Vova repentance
Thank you!
My hugs to you and i look foward to hear from you what I can pray about you :)
With love in Christ,
Anya
