Kids Cup 2018, Soccer Sport Community and Multiplying Discipleship through Sports

Such crazy and amazing were April and May - last FIFA community this season, 5 Soccer Sport Community and parallely tournament Kyiv Kids cup among Alternative Schools (Semifinal 1, Seminfinal 2, Final), and the last weekend - training "Multiplying Discipleship Movement through sports" with FIFA/Sport Community Party. Thank you for your prayers!

 And now a bit more in details :-)

The last FIFA community this season   

 April 14 we had our last FIFA community in this season and invited also our boys up to 10 years old to our football sport community and the guys older to be coaches and coaches assistants at those footbal sport community practices;-) We had our devotion time using again the Gospel tool "Solarium" and the guys answered the questions about their lives, their dreams and how the view God. The leaders of the groups shared Gospel when they shared how Bible views God and how the reconciliation can be through Jesus Christ.

There were many hours of searching and getting in touch with the alternative schools of Kiev, and the Lord rewarded the labour and brought 8 schools to register for the tournament. Parallelly we had football/soccer sport community for them where we had breaks for the devotion part. We met different principles of the schools and parents. Also there were children of parents believers who also need to hear Gospel and who need to be sawn with the Word of God. God blessed us with great weather, festive and joyful atmosphere for everybody - parents, principles, children as well as He gave us a unity as the team of Athletes in Action Ukraine.

Huge thanks to God and to you for your prayers! He gave us great weather, excellent atmosphere and new connections for the Kingdom of God, the hearts of children and of adults were open for God's Word, He kept us safe from physical injuries and from the soul dissapointments, He blessed us as a team in the arrangements.

Please pray:

- for the preparation for the summer camps - Sport Community - at the church Revival, Kyiv, and at the church "Arc", Dniepro
- for God would continue working in the hearts of the guys and children from FIFA community and from Kids Cup, and would bring them to the camp
- for the coach of the school "Think Global" - Anya K., for the mom of the twins from the school "Vydkryti Krila" ("Open Wings") - Katya - so that they would accept Gospel and Christ in their lives - these are those who I met and in the process of building the relationships
- for the youth of Revival church would get more involved into this ministry including the girls for whom i could be a mentor in sharing Gospel and discipleship ;-)

Training "Multiplying Discipleship Movement through Sports" together with FIFA/Sport Community Party
Last weekend May 12-13 we had an amazing training on "How to Make Disciples through sport" and as a practice of what we learned we applied it straight away at our FIFA community party to where we invited children from the Kids Cup we had last weeks, and there we awarded the best players of this tournament. We had an amazing speaker from the USA, a very practical and wise man, Ion Keptene. We had participants from different parts of Ukraine who serve the Lord through sports and through youth and church ministries. We had about more than 50 children and parents who came to the FIFA party. During the devotion break of the Fifa community the children and their parents heard Gospel which we as leaders of the discussion groups presented using the evangelistic tool called "Solarium". Others who came for the training observed and learned from this model of the ministry that we presented to them through this FIFA party - i.e. Sport Community model ;-) Praise the Lord! Thank you for your prayers! Please pray for the hearts of the children and of the parents and for our futher steps as well as for the application of what we learned at the training

The practices and the games with the non-believers in the team "Tigress" 

One of the "Tigress", Lena L. (she is the last one from another end, next to me) also was at our FIFA party and her son even participated in the tournament. Before the party I called Lena and asked if there are any prayer requests she has so I will pray for her. She was happy to hear. But she still keeps herself closed.  Please pray for her heart to be open as well as for her family so that they would repent and would accept Christ. Also for the remaining practices with "Tigress" and for keeping relationships with them - from the end of May till September there's a summer break.


Please keep praying for the repentance and for the deliberance of my sister, Irina, for the repentance of my brother, Valera and of my nephew, Vova. 

Also for the upcoming season of raising support - so that God would give wisdom and so that He would lead to those and open the hearts of those to whom He wants me to come.
