On May 13, 2017, we had
our first conference where we shared our vision for AIA Ukraine – sports communities
(conf.aiaukraine.com). There were sports ministers from different cities of Ukraine - Kiev,
Dniepro, Mariupol, Odessa
and so on. And also we had our speakers from AIA Netherlands and AIA USA, Gordon
Volkman, our regional coordinator. We had also guests from Bulgaria and USA. After the conference there were trainings on how to build a sport community in practice.
It was a challenging period as we are yet:) a small team and each one of us has to do many responsibilities at the same time but God is using this to change us and transform more into His image and to become more united as a team.
On the last day one of our Dutch guest speakers had an unexpected issue with his throat (an abscess) which could lead to postponing his flight next day back home. Visiting different international medical centers with them and going through this challenge reminded me my previous job in the international relocation company when i provided this kind of services. It amazed me and encouraged that God uses my past, my experience for His future work with AIA now!:)

Please pray for:
1) For the start of the football tournament between the churches in Kiev in May, also for the Christian Football Champions League in June - so that the hearts of the athletes would be changed in the process of these projects;
2) A challenging period of raising my support and my health (again i have pain in my neck spine which causes pain when moving);
3) For the sports projects in July in Kiev and Dniepro - the start of sports communities;
4) For the repentance of my friend and ex basketballer, Anya, and if Lord's willing, to raise the woman's basketball team with her.
