Encouragements and prayer needs of the summer season

Hello my dear friends!

I would like to share with you some encouragements from this month and how God answers the prayers! Thank you for your prayer and financial support. I'm glad I serve together with you!

Our new stadium and the office. God's miracle!

We prayed for a long time that our ministry Athletes in Action would have our own office. We wanted to have a place for team meetings, Bible studies and other trainings for coaches from all over Ukraine. We have a large team, there is an equipment, awards and resources that need a base and a storage place.
God answered our prayers. Immediately after the New Year one businessman called me. He is a sincere Christian and wanted to help our ministry and the local church by building a bridge between the non-believing community and the Church through the sports ministry. 
He offered a football field and a large room for us to manage. The goal is to build sports ministry in the area together with the Church.God especially worked in His heart and for several months now, the repair works have been going on at that premise. We managed to spend a week of trainings in this new location. But unfortunately, then quarantine began.We had a need and God miraculously answered it. He who has begun a good deed in us will complete it!Pray for the repair works to be completed on time and we could have a large summer project in August. 

We praise God for the opportunity that we had -  to spend time on the analysis of the ministry year with the team, to discuss the work which was done and the plans for the upcoming season.

The goals that have been set for the summer and are being some accomplished already:

- To prepare and to conduct two children's camps - with the churches - the Revival and the House of Peace;

- To take the Bible training of Cru on the New Testament studies;

- To do the fund raising and to develop the relationships with the ministry partners;

- To relax and to gain strength during the vacation in July.

Arrival and the relocation of Sasha and Sveta Kovalev.

We also prayed that God would give the right person to our new location.God also responded to this need by placing the heart of one strong leader to lead this location.We lacked experienced coaches and leaders even in our three locations, and God blessed us with one more new location. God gave us a man who has an extensive experience in the sports ministry, who studies at the seminary and has a vast experience in discipleship and evangelism.This is a married couple - Sasha and Sveta Kovaleva. They are going to move from the city of Mariupol to Kiev and will join our ministry. Thanks God -  he was accepted into our mission to the Ministry of Athletes in Action.Pray for their successful move to Kiev in July. Also for their period of raising support to be able to find his support team for their ministry.

Helping with the Sport Kids in the kindergarden near the ReChurch

Officially Sport Kids is on the quarantine and then on a summer break till August. But there are personal trainings in the kindergarden by one of our volunteer, and I helped him during the month. In the evenings we had a mini soccer community in the neighbourhood of my disciple Maria who has 5 children. It was a good time of fellowship with Maria, and with Tatiana who i shared Gospel earlier and whose son attends Sport Kids. And also a good time with some new parents from the kindergarden. Please keep praying for strength and wisdom for our volunteer, Ruslan, and also for the hearts of Maria, Tatiana and other parents so that they would seek and be close to Christ. ❤️

Practices with the youth basketball club Admirals

In my prayer group on Facebook I posted the latest news about my leg trauma (all grew in pretty well but there's a so called bone blister in the leg and it grew a bit deformed, i won't do the surgery with the artificial brake of it but i plan to still remove the plates out closer by winter time) So 1,5 years after my brake and the surgery, I had my first real basketball practice with my friends - Admirals Basketball Ukraine https://www.facebook.com/admiralsbasketball.ua/

Partnering in the ministry to the girls athletes

The strict quarantine is over and we continue to meet with the girls athletes, champions, who haven't devoted their lives completely to Christ yet but who continue to do sports professionally and also are open to study Bible and to visit the church. On the photo below is our ZOOM Bible study I led on the topic "Sincerity"

Please pray that athletes would spend more time with us, the leaders who are believers and would commit their lives to Christ!
