The beginning of the year gives hope ;-)

  Hi Everyone!

How did your year start? Hope, it's a blessed start!

Thank you for your faithfulness in the prayer and financial support. Only in this way together we  can continue together to do our ministry and to improve ;-)

Here are the main events during this period:

Mentoring with Inessa

Remember Inessa? :) She gets better with her rehabilitation, but still in many aspects she is limited. God guides her and our staff Dima, her husband, through His stages of a spiritual growth as servants of God. Inessa is planning to join Cru this year, so she still serves as a “volunteer”. To join she needs to be trained as a missionary and practically to start applying the lessons that I teach her as her mentor.  

Please continue to pray for her full rehabilitation of the arm and of the leg, for no muscles spasms, and for wisdom and growth in Inessa's ministry.

Evangelism and Bible Study with Sveta (possibly also other moms from Sport Kids)

Remember Sveta? :) This is Kiril's mother, who comes to Sport Kids practices. I told you about how I shared Gospel with Sveta at the end of last year. Sveta is open to the Bible, to Gospel. She is a very friendly and an easygoing person, she is very kind. I am so glad that the Lord brought her to us. Sveta is not yet ready to go to church, as she said. But she wants to read and study the Bible. And so we had the first such meeting at Inessa's place! We use the Bible Study Course "From Creation to Christ", which is in our Sport Kids devotional notebooks for our disciples. Also there are two more mothers from Sport Kids who are somewhat interested - Masha (mother of 5 children, about whom you also remember from my previous updates :)) and Anastasia (her friend). By the way, Sveta is Masha's neighbour in the apartment building. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will lead Sveta and her family (husband) to accept Christ, and also would work in the hearts of Masha and her family and Anastasia.

Sport Kids trainings season and the Bible course for kids - Emmaus 

The training process season has already begun!

We understand that God wants His kingdom to grow and to expand.

Many children and parents come, and for this may glory be to God! But we understand that this is not the limit of opportunities in our ministry. We pray that our team will become even bigger and that we can bring Gospel to even more children and parents.

During the lockdown, the coaches came up with an everyday challenge for the children: the kids did physical exercises, as well as such tasks as answering questions about respect, teamwork, etc. They sent videos (the parents helped), and earned points that "converted "then into "sports dollars" in our currency))) They can buy for them a ball, leggings, gloves, etc. from our Sport Kids shop.

I am also responsible for the Bible assignments from the Emmaus Bible course. I tell the parents about them. And the children do the assignments, their parents help, and in this way they also come into contact with the Bible ;-)

A little about family and childhood friend from Odessa

Thanks for the prayers, I went to my native city of Odessa for the winter holidays and even for a couple of days I was with my whole family in Izmail (brother, sister, nephew and me). It was also joyful to spend time together after a long time (the last time we saw each other like this 5.5 years ago, when my mother passed away). But it was also sad, since my family, unfortunately, are not open and do not want to obey Christ in their lives, and we have matured and become somehow more alienated toward each other. Please continue to pray for my family loved ones, for the work of the Holy Spirit in their hearts and for their choice of Christ. The photo shows my hometown Izmail and our old family photos, which were put as the decoration by my mom when she was alive.

My childhood friend, Alena, lives now in Odessa. She repented 3 years ago. She listens to online sermons, and also shares a lot with her older brother (he is in the process of divorce now, unfortunately). The Lord has blessed us with such a long friendship. Pray that she would read the Word of God and that she would want to serve Him in the church.
